Brand Expression Design

Co-op | Summer 2024

During my time at Procter & Gamble I worked on a variety of different brands within the Home Care Business including billion dollar brands such as Dawn, Cascade, Swiffer, Febreze and Mr. Clean.

My work included packaging design, digital commerce, consumer research, design strategy, portfolio branding, a recruitment campaign, and other internal branding projects. I spent time executing visual strategy and building concepts across consumer touchpoints including packaging, promotional materials, visual communications, digital commerce, social media, etc.

A major takeaway was learning how to implement opportunities from consumer insights to build design strategies and concepts. I also worked with AI tools during my time, determining a productive use of the technology for project development.

I worked closely with multidisciplinary partners to maintain brand consistency and execute designs in alignment with marketing strategies.

While most of my work with P&G is confidential, I am more than happy to personally share & talk through a few approved projects from my time on the following brands upon request!

BLINK Cincinnati ‘24 Parade Design:

Objective: create a fun, lively design that reflects the brands in home care and create an opportunity for marketing.

Develop the design that will make up the four panels of the trike. How does the artwork help highlight the decided activation proposal? 

Propose activation. Who is riding the trike? What costume are they wearing? Are any additional props needed to help bring to life the home care category?

Final Design: repetition of misting pattern, simplistic use of brand colors in assets and respective background colors, cohesiveness in white logos, Mr. Clean is focus of activated theme.
